At Hamperoo, we want every gift you send (or receive) to bring joy. While we take great care in curating and packaging each hamper, we understand that sometimes things don’t go quite as planned.
This Returns & Refund Policy explains when and how you can return items purchased from hamperoos.com, and how we handle refunds or replacements.
🛍️ Can I Return My Order?
You can return non-personalised, unused, and unopened hampers within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with UK consumer law. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in its original condition
- All contents must be unopened and undamaged
- It must be returned in the original packaging
- You must contact us to initiate the return within 14 days of delivery

Include your order number, reason for return, and any relevant photos (if applicable).
🧵 Personalised Hampers & Custom Orders
Please note: We cannot accept returns or offer refunds on personalised hampers or custom-made orders unless the item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
This includes:
- Hampers with personalised gift messages, names, labels or engraved items
- Custom-built hampers that differ from our standard product listings
Please double-check all spelling, product selections, and personalisation details before completing your order.
💥 Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your hamper arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, we’re really sorry! We’ll always aim to put it right.
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- A description of the issue
- A photo of the item and the packaging
- Your order number
We will offer one of the following resolutions:
- A replacement hamper
- A refund (full or partial)
- A credit note or discount on your next order
🔁 How to Return an Item
Once your return is approved, we’ll provide you with return instructions.
- Items must be packaged securely to prevent damage during return shipping
- You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (damaged or incorrect item)
- We recommend using a tracked or signed-for delivery service
Returned items should be sent to the address provided in your return confirmation email.
💳 Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved:
- Your refund will be processed within 3–7 business days
- It will be credited to your original payment method
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued
Note: Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless your return is due to our error.
❗ Exemptions – Items That Cannot Be Returned
We are unable to accept returns for the following:
- Personalised or custom hampers
- Opened food or drink products
- Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
- Gift cards or vouchers
- Used or damaged items not caused by transit
📦 Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- First, check your bank or payment account
- Then contact your card provider — it may take time before your refund is officially posted
- If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at info@hamperoos.com
🌍 International Orders
If you’re returning an item from outside the UK, you are responsible for any customs declarations and return shipping fees. Please label the package clearly as “Returned Goods” to avoid import charges.
